Ease of use
All elements of the house are controlled via a central control system including all lights, power points, audio, video and security systems. This allows for sophisticated control of the environment to suit the individual requirements of the guests.
These controls are accessed via various wall-mounted touch screens, strategically placed around the house as well as via portable touch screens. The touch screens also doubles as additional TV screens. In addition to the touch panels, full control is available via any Personal Computer or Cellular Phone, even across the Internet.
This provides the ability to monitor and control the house from anywhere in the world.
Four incoming lines tied into a 50 extension switchboard together with a computer network connected to the Internet ensure hassle-free communications for all guests.
Special consideration was given to environmental control with the whole house equipped with air conditioning as well as under floor heating. Various water features adds to the overall effect of open space and tranquillity as does the 8 built-in fireplaces.
250 dimmed light circuits ensure the correct lightning mood can be attained for any situation while 32 TV points and 48 in-ceiling speakers ensure entertainment facilities are always available. Two large screen projectors are provided for movie viewing or group events such as sports screening.
Security was given top priority with a 192-zone security system installed. This system, together with electrified perimeter fencing as well as 40 CCTV security cameras ensures the safety of the guests. Via the central control system, notification can be sent of any security breach.
